Assessments

Taking an assessment is the process of documenting intrapersonal skills, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors in measurable terms. Assessments can shed light on your interests and values as they relate to possible career choices as well as to provide employers insightful reports to make decisions regarding the selection and development of potential and current employees.

The following assessments can measure productive behaviors, stress behaviors, underlying needs, motivations and organizational orientation. All results are confidential between the individual and administrator and, ethically, not for disclosure without permission. Individuals should always be given a detailed interpretation of their results from a trained and certified administrator.

Below are the assessments that I am trained and certified to administer, interpret and provide feedback:

THE BIRKMAN METHOD® measures productive behaviors, stress behaviors, underlying needs, motivations and organizational orientation. Reports can facilitate team building, executive coaching, leadership development, career management and interpersonal conflict resolution. Download a sample report (PDF)

THE MBTI INSTRUMENT is based on Jung's ideas about perception and judgment, and the attitudes in which these are used in different types of people. Preferences affect not only what people attend to in any given situation, but also how they draw conclusions about what they perceive. The aim of the MBTI instrument is to identify, from a self-report of easily recognized reactions, the basic preferences of people.

THE STRONG INTEREST INVENTORY® has been refined time and again since the 1920s to give people insights that help them find careers that fit. How? By comparing your interests to the interests of people who enjoy their jobs. The report is based on the concept that if they like their jobs, and you share the same interests, you'll likely find similar work enjoyable.

The Candidate Potential Report (CPR) will help you select the right candidates for jobs throughout your organization, ultimately increasing productivity, decreasing turnover and minimizing the risks and costs of bad hires. The report provides an immediate recommendation based on the assessment results that will identify each candidate as high, moderate or low fit for the job opening. Additionally, the report identifies the candidate’s strengths, areas of concern and interview style. Check out a sample CPR Report (PDF)
